Best thing you can buy that plugs right in to the accessory plug is a heated seat. They are awesome.

The gray plug is B+. But, B+ is always hot, unswitched 12v. It goes straight to the + battery terminal, not through the ignition. If it's switched on your bike it is not truly B+.
There is an ignition switched pin in the 4 pin accessory plug. As well as a plug switched through the dash switch.

Hmmmm...installed one of these in my 2012s tour pak, super handy. On my 2008 Ultra though, I've removed the tour pak, tho this spare plug connector is under the seat which would fit this power port below.

where does this physically mount on the bike? does this go under the side cover? (saw that in a PDF, felt like I missed something in the diagram)

I recently bought the 12v Power Port (cigarette lighter plug) that plugs into the 4 pin deutsch connector. Here's a pic:

Yes, under the side panel. But I'm not mounting it there, I'm just going to stuff it under the seat for now.

maybe I'm missing it. what good would that do anyone to have it under the side panel? as I assume most would use it to charge a phone, or maybe somehow plug in a GPS device or something needing power
