the trick to the first install is not tightening down the bracket on the rear fender,,if you allow that to move a little you can actually adjust the seat once it is on the bike. the other thing is just pushing it down 1 click on the post. the new seats have a real tight fit and it takes a few hundred miles before you cane use the second click (the protective rubber feet have to break in a bit)...no better seat out there

ORIGINAL: bigreef

I was going to call them today but got busy in my fish room (bigreef a carry over name from my other money pit) and then riding. I should give them a call tomorrow and see what they say. I think I will like the seat but dang it should be easier to get off than that. They now have a key release and that seems to be where the hang up is. It will not release past the first catch. If you adjust the back bracket any, you have to lock it in to check it and then I am back to prying the back up to loosen the bracket so the front will release. Then do it all again......... Very frustrating!
When you said "fit" I thunk you meant how it fit you. I didn't know they now had a locking mechanism.

Seem a little "regal" for a company that charges premium prices for their seats to take an "all sales final, no returns" approach with customers....just my opinion though...

I've never owned one and from what I read my solowouldn't work with their design anyway..
