These were my bikes over the years. Started with chrome back in 2011 and now onto the black SGS. Black is way easier to maintain and clean from rides than chrome in my opinion. Still appreciate chrome on certain bikes though!

I don't understand people that ask opinions from strangers, or the people that respond.
I guess it's an attention thing.
Do it your way, post pics, but asking people to help you decide is pathetic.
......about as pathetic as responding to a post with no discernible input.

As I mentioned more than once - I was curious to see a few pics to get an idea of how they looked against different color bikes. Something we all have done on various projects (don’t tell me you’ve never asked for a recommendation on paint colors for a room, or asked someone’s opinion on a tool or benefit of one brand over another....)

Not only no discernible input to the topic at hand, but the only reason for the post was to bash another person for no discernible reason other than to be an a$$. I’d call that a troll.

I’ve never owned a motorcycle with as much chrome as ‘Old Horse’ nor have I ever owned anything with whitewalls. While both are a pain in the *** to keep clean, compared to a blacked-out bike, the effort is worth it to me. Chrome is definitely old-school good looks, but it also never really goes out of style.

Do you suppose he asked for pics so he could see his ideas on another bike to get an idea? Looks like you're the one seeking attention. You feel better now after ripping on a stranger online?

Chrome!!! They are starting to black our mini vans for Christ sake and really, it’s over done already. Chrome will be coming back in again soon. But do as you wish. Oh and I love how chrome parts are cheaper than black parts everywhere now lol makes me feel like I’m getting a deal.
