Has anybody ever took the internal wiring and sockets out of one of the rear turn signal bullet light bar? I want to powder coat it but for thew life of me can not figure out how to get this damn thing apart.
There is a video on YouTube. I just did this myself. Very easy. There are a couple of open slots down in the chrome reflector. They are down in where the light bulb seats, I took a good strong coat hanger and made a hook. You will be able to stick the hook in and pull. There are two holes. Just switch from one hole to the next. they actually come apart relatively easily once you know what to look for. I found the video and will paste a link. It also goes over how to take the connectors apart as well. Be patient. They are easy to get back together as well.
And just a couple of pics for motivation. Proof that it can be done!. And never mind the missing tank console. I'm picking that up from the powder coater today!
