Just thought I would put my $.02 in here to potentially help someone in the future.
I have a 2017 Road Glide Special and I put a used speedo out of a 2019 Road Glide CVO speedo on my 17. I initially got the "vinerr" message but after months of research I was bale to to clear it. Long story short I bought and used the Twin Scan 4, and it worked great!
If anyone needs help on this don't hesitate to reach out, and shoot me a PM. I am more than willing to help out a fellow rider, as it seemed like it took me forever to figure this out. But now I have the knowledge to help someone else out.

There are a few different computer based programs that can do it, I have the Daytona Twin Tech Scan 4 that did it for me. Id be willing to ship ya my devise for a small fee, and you could do it yourself. Shoot me a PM and we can go from there. You will need a windows based computer, Apple computers won't do it.

I just replaced my 14 SGS gauge with a used one. looking for some help. I tried messaging you but if you see this give me a call 616-430-2951. I'd love to not have to buy a new one.
Find a local INDY. they can do it with one of a few tools they use to work on Harley's.
Once the vin is entered and the bike is ridden about 30 miles it will display the correct mileage also.
Hey just trying to get some info Im doing the same as you did but was told that the original mileage would not show on a used gauge after pairing is that wrong? I have a speedo that has 30k on it but the bike has 9512 miles can this be corrrected?

Would you be willing to ship it to Jordan? I'll send it back once I clear the vinerr, that's all I need it for and it doesn't make sense to me to pay $666 plus shipping just to clear the vinerr then store it away.
