I do if you have a moment reach out to me directly I will give you my number and walk you through the process.
I have not used my TechnoResearch Centurion Pro to pair a speedo and ECM.
However, in the directions you listed, it says:
"**The odometer reading stored in the speedo will not be altered**
**The odometer reading stored in the ECM will not be altered**
If the user desires the odometer readings to match:
Please onstall a NEW Speedo Cluster and follow the instructions included with it"
So it will remove the VIN error message, but the speedo will still show whatever the speedo mileage was and the ECM what the ECM mileage was. It won't reconcile the two, ECM & Speedo, to have matching mileage. The only way to change the speedo mileage to the ECM mileage of the bike is to buy a new speedo cluster..

Using centurion takes a bit of time to learn . You can use the help file and run through the menus. Make sure you have battery fully charged and plug in you tender You do not want battery getting low when working on settings.

Or am I missing something?
Speedo pair procedure will take the mileage from the ECM too. Whatever it was in the used cluster it will be replaced. All the 3rd party tools use the same software procedure which was always possible to be done but not published until i suppose 2021, so in next versions Harley access policy could change and they will force the 3rd parties to disable this feature in the newer versions. As it was done to ability to marry the used ABS units. I remember i could do it with Diag4Bike in like 2015-2016 but since then it is not possible. Like same it was before with the clusters - only new unit could be married to ECM.

I read that the same as you do...
I have not paired a used speedo either, but... my Diag4Bike says it will match the speedo's milage whatever the bike's ECM milage is. I'd be surprised TechnoResearch's doesn't do the same thing.

I hoped that would not be the case, I had heard otherwise when I purchased my TRCP. I picked up a set of slightly used CVO gauges that I hoped to install
