Default 2004 cruise control issue

Have a 2004 FLHTCI. Cruise has been acting up. Now doesn’t work at all. I have read all the previous trends and trouble shoot all of that. Problem here is the rocker switch has power But the indicator light is not coming on the tack. I have checked power to module, all brake switches are good. Roll off switch seems good, unplugged it and no change. What am i missing?? Is there a relay that may be bad? Thanks in advance.

I had issues after installing apes. I purchased the Harley Davidson Electrical Diagnostic Manual bam fixed in 10 minutes. Mine was a loose connector in my headlight.
There is a nice flow chart in the manual.

Make sure your brake light works, or is not stuck on all the time.
I had an issue on my '03 where one of the rear brake caliper pistons got cocked in its bore and was not allowing the brake light switch to operate properly.
Cleaned the dirt off the caliper piston rubber boot, manually exercised the piston and the intermittent/fulltime cruise problem was fixed.

I checked all the brakes. Think there is a issue electronically. The indicator light on the tack will not come on. If it were a brake issue the indicator light would still come on just not engage. Correct??

I'm assuming my '06 is the same as your bike. When I had a bad brake light switch,YES,the cruise light DID come on,but couldn't set the cruise.

Any other issues with the speedo or anything? I had a speed sensor go out and I lost cruise and had Speedo issues. May be a long shot.

No issues with any instruments. It has to a connection somewhere, I just can’t track it down.
