Default Bike wiring/adjustable backrest issue

I have an HD adjustable back rest on my 15 SGCVO. Does anyone have a good route to run the rear main wiring plug under the seat. The plug ran across the rear fender and mounted there originally. After installing the back rest I can't seem to find a good spot for it. Any ideas and pic's would be appreciated.

I just installed an "adjustable driver back rest" on a 2018 Ultra. From my understanding of the instructions the bracket that mounts to the rear fender, the wiring should be left in place and the bracket fits over the wiring. I am not sure if that holds true to a CVO, but wouldn't think they would have different wiring. The part that was really unclear to me was the mounting of the lever on the left side. I kind of did my own and re-installed the side heat deflector back on the bike. Hides the lever a little too. Good luck on the install and keep it between the white lines in Iowa.

Here is an article with some pictures which might clear up some of the installation questions.

Thanks for your input. Not sure about the 18's but the CVO has a large plug/harness,speakers etc. that doesn't fit under the rest. I've tried. I took a ride the other day and pulled the seat to check for damage. Hope i'm good. My adjustable lever is under the deflector as well. Not a lot of options there. Be safe out there.

Might be a different animal, but the attached picture is how the wiring runs on my 2015 with the manually (as opposed to the cable version) adjustable backrest. I also have a brake light module and the saddlebag lights that harley sells so there's a bit of wiring and connectors all trying to live in the same real estate.
