Default 2011 Roadglide Ultra apehanger question

At the risk of being told to search the forums...

I just purchased a 2011 RGU, I was looking to add 12 or 14” apehangers. I was wondering if anyone has installed those sizes on this particular bike and used the stock cables? Also there is a set of used 14” Meathooks on local CL, anyone try those on stock cables? I will eventually upgrade the cables to braided and do internal wiring, just looking to minimize downtime at this point. .

Found the answer to my own question...will go with 10" to be sure I don't have to replace anything and limit downtime, maybe do 12-14" later when its time to do some other major project. Thanks

Hate to say, but pick what you like and will be the most comfy. Pull the wires thru one time and be done with it. It will take the same amount of time anyways....

When I did my 12" I replaced everything. The biggest hassle was the wiring diagram for the throttle sensor was backwards.

Though when I did all the cables and wiring I went slightly longer just in case I wanted to change in the future.
