I have a 2007 Ultra. The bike ran fine until today. It was around 90+ outside and the bike did not want to idle when coming up to a stoplight. I have a race tuner and changed by idle rpm from 800 to 900 and it did not really help.
I thought the PCMs on '07s were programmed to shut down the rear cylinder at idle when the engine temperature got too high, which might explain a rough idle. Maybe somebody else can confirm this.
First off, welcome to the forum. I have a '05 with a carb, so I can't really help you out, but I am sure someone here can point you in the right direction. Have you talked to anyone at the dealer that installed the SERT? That would be my next stop. Also, is it only at idle? Could it be bad gas? Just throwing out options.
I had a race tuner installed after I put on my Rush pipes and stage 1, it ran fine for about two weeks and then started running like crap. It had a rough idle and stalled a few times. I took it back in and they found a problem with the tuner, they took it off, installed the upgraded download for my configuration, and refunded my money. No problems since.
