I would love to meet the sadistic bastard who designed the spoke wheels on my Road King and punch him in his mouth. The valve is dead center of the rim and right in between where two spokes cross over each other.
I literally spent 15 minutes putting air in my back tire last weekend.

Not sure about MC wheels, but when you build a bicycle wheel you lace it to make sure you've got a non-crossed pair near the stem.

I've been using the 90 degree aluminum Bike Master valves, and they've made a world of difference. Under $20 for the pair from Cycle Gear or Revzilla, and different colors to choose from. Had the dealer put them in when they installed the new tires. Been very happy with them.

Being able to add 90 degree stems was one of the reasons I switched from spokes to aluminum wheels. They are so much easier and you can use any gauge. I used beads in the tubes with my spokes and really liked them. But with out tubes and the 90 degree stems I found the beads filled the stems and didn’t fall back out so they got stuck in the core. I’m still taking my cores out a year later because there is a bead or two holding the cores open and when I add air the cores won’t close and the air rushes back out

No problems on my 15 RGS other than i have to pull right bag and get down on floor for rear tire. Getting my inflator and tire pressure gauge on a mag wheel is no biggie.
