I did have the Dealer do a few things on the bike like Bars and a stage 2 they both done at different times and maybe they disarmed the security system.
Perhaps your dealer left it in service mode?

The OP's Owners Manual (nor mine) does not cover entering, or exiting the service mode.
The easy way to check the security is, leave your fob indoors and go to your bike and move it, turn signals should flash, that is the default security system.
However, if you want it to chirp you have two options, buy the $100+ HD unit or fit the $8 alarm off eBay, perhaps you can guess which option I did
The $8 option is a very simple, plug n play option, of course you can add the proper connector if you wish, I just a added dab of silicone and all is good

Does your $8 siren have a backup battery?
In other words, if someone cuts the power to your security, will your siren still sound? The HD siren has a backup battery so it will still sound if the power is cut. To some that may be worth $92+. YMMV.

Think of it this way, yes they could cut the power to my siren, however they could just as easily unplug the HD unit, so both have flaws.
My siren will chirp when I leave and return to the bike, for $8 its a good deterrent if a thief is nearby watching...
You pays your money, you take your choice.

If the HD unit is unplugged, the siren will activate and disable the ignition.
