Default Magnum Wire Extension ?

Hows it going, been looking for the answer but haven't quite found it yet. Doing a bar swap on my 2012 RG to 14" Apes. I got a cable and wire extension kit from Magnum but my question is this. On the wire extensions they sent me there are pins already attached to both ends of the wires, I was under the impression that I would have to splice the existing wires with the extensions. If this is correct then I'm going to have to cut the pins off one end of the wires they sent me. Is this correct or is there something Im missing? I've watched many videos but nothing its very clear when it comes to these extension kits. I just want to make sure I have my ducks in a row before I start the process. Don't want to have to stop and run here and there to get anything else I need to finish the job.

From what i remember my magnums were just extensions of the factory wires. You just undo the plug, make up the connection, then redo the plug with the magnum pins.

I used one similar. It came with glue heat shrink, if not you will want to purchase some. You undo the connector (either one at a time or take notes) and connect and then seal the connection. You want something that will insulate, and prevent them from coming apart. Thus the marine grade heat shrink that contains glue does wonders for this.

So they just plug into the pins you take out of the original plug? Is there any need to solder the connections?

You remove the pins from the plug, TAKE A PICTURE

then you insert the new extensions into the plug, then plug the original wire and the extension together.
