There has been (or soon will be) a recall on Street Glides. Apparently, some of the fairing mounted mirrors were misplaced during install. Mine are perfect, but from the sounds of it others have had this issue and lack a good field of vision.
There is no problem with the bike at all. There was an issue with the fairing mounted mirrors. Seems that for a while the robot that was drilling the holes in the fairing for the mirrors was getting the holes in the wrong place so the mirrors were not very fuctional.
My understanding is that HD is replacing the bad inner fairing if you have one of the messed up ones. If you haven't got your bike yet then you don't need to worry. The problem has been corrected on bikes that are now being shipped.
The Street Glide is HD's hottest thing right now. You are going to be very happy.

I got one of the first Street Glide's available in Wisconsin...July 28th. I noticed the problem with the mirrors right away (they gave me a nice view of the back of my hands ) but the dealer doubted my assessment. Within a week they called and said that the MOCO discovered that some of the bikes were shipped with improperly drilled holes and that they would be ordering me a new inner fairing. Last week they called and said it was in and I should bring the bike in for the replacement. I'm still riding almost every day so they agreed to wait until I'm ready. [8D]
