Default Electra glide without the front fairing

Hy,

Has anyone modified their bagger so you have the roadking look? So with no front fairing?
I am looking for some pictures, but not able to find some.

Was thinking to put most of the wires inside the aftermarket nacelle. Speedo would be aftermarket also.

One thing about Harley-Davidson and their owners. Just when you think something can't be done, it's already been done.

We call it a roadking...pretty simple swap and ya may get some cash back selling all the fairing parts, but why didn’t buy a king in the first place... oh same reason folks swap Electraglide into sharks, them glides are cheap....

Indeed. I am on a budget, and here in Belgium the price of a Harley is a bit more then in the US.
I did not want a smaller bike, so I ended with the EG.
Nice bike, rides excellent, but I want to change the look. And the RK is a bit pricey here.

The Road King, Electra Glide and Road Glide are all the same sized bikes. Same frame.

Of course it can be done, but there's a lot more wiring built in to the Electra than the RK. I don't see getting it all stashed away into anything else. To do it right, I'd be wanting to do a harness swap.

Hello, can you please tell me how this worked out for you, I have a 98 Electric Glide and need to either replace the inner and outer fairings or go fairing less, which due to budget would be the best option for me. So I'm wondering how your project worked out

Respectfully,
