The big wheel kits sell for $875. You won't find those any lower. The $749 price you mention is for the standard / lowered kit

When I needed to upgrade the front tubes on my '03 Ultra, I chose the Progressive Mono-Tube cartridge kit and I am also experiencing a noticeable improvement with the ride and handling. The front suspension on both of these bikes are nothing at all like the OEM systems I replaced with Progressive systems.

You may prefer one over the other for whatever reasons, but Progressive kits DO what they claim in my experience.
Well good for you and your experience but it’s just that YOURS....

Ive had every kind of suspension on different types of bikes at some point and time. Ohlins, Racetech, Legends, Progressive, etc. I’ve ran Progressive on 2 different Harley’s and it was the same result SHYT. You act like I’m the only person who commented on this. There’s a million suspension threads out there and many people have commented on how the Progressive fork spring kit merely stiffens up the front end and nothing more. That is the same result for me!!! Went from bottoming out on stock factory setup to a stiff wooden response from the Progressive. Your full of shyt if your telling me that the Progressive kit provides the same feel and response that Racetech or even Legends front end kits provide. Is it better than stock sure it is but that ain’t saying much!!!

After a lot of research, I replaced the stock (OMG stock was junk!) with the Legends AXEO and Rev-A 12". The Ohlins were just more than I was willing to spend, as it was, the Legends were about $1500. I did install myself, as I"ve always done my own mechanics. The Progressive's just had too many mixed reviews. I'm a wimp, 140lbs soaking wet and 5-7, so lowing the bike a bit is important for me. I've had the Legends on for more than a year now, and I keep contacting support for answers, (which they are extremely responsive with). The Legends were designed for your average rider that weighs more than I do. For me the ride is very stiff. I have the rears at 1 rebound setting and the spring all the way out to get the 1/2" sag when sitting on the bike, (factory recommendation). I have sent the rears back under warranty to have lighter springs put on, which the factory did not mention until I complained about the ride, and they were very accommodating with very quick turn around. I've been asking about adjustability in the front, as I feel they are now my problem with a stiff ride. The fronts handle the dips and waterfall imperfections well, as they have quick rebound, but they do not handle the sharp edge road bumps as well. For me and my light weight, the fronts are rigid over the sharp hits and just push the front end up and then the rears take the hit with bronco style riding. Legends has said I can send the fronts back under warranty to be examined for proper set up, (not looking forward to that). I keep asking if there is a lower pre-load setting, or changing to lighter fork oil, or less oil would help? These were put in stock factory setup, which I believe was the lowest setting? Anyway, these are huge improvement over stock crap, and Legends has been awesome to deal with so far.

Insert-here, I have the same issue of being a light weight. I only weigh 125# and went with Pro-action's new piggy back remotes that are 12.25". Original springs and valving was to stiff but I spent a day at their shop while they revalved the shocks and went with a lighter spring. The rear is pretty good now. (best I have felt on a HD) but I could probably use even a lighter spring. I also contacted legend about their front end but they told me straight out that I would probably find it to stiff at my body weight so I am still trying to figure out what I want to do with the front.

Ive had progressive front end kit in a 2007 Night rod and all it did was stiffen it up. Didn’t really provide any feedback in terms of handling. Didn’t bottom anymore but didn’t provide any comfort either. Wasn’t really impressed with the overall kit compared to other options out there.

Still running Racetech Goldvalve/spring kit in my Hayabusa and just recently put the same setup in my 94 FXR.
Did my 08 Vrod front and back with progressive suspension . It was the best money spent . After reading this thread . Axeo is on the list of mods in the future .

I run a 2004 RK and installed the Legends Axeo in the front and Olins in the rear. Made a huge difference in the ride. Most people don't even realize that the stock Harley suspension is completely junk until they ride one that has been changed with a good quality suspension. The first time I rode my bike I realized that it was garbage suspension and even more so after I put the wife on the back.

So between doing the suspension and building the 110, it was money well spent.
