To many miles for that kinda money. To me its a 6,000 dollar bike tops. Like he said 5 grand would be better. But from what I've seen bikes are higher in Texas than around here.

There are a lot of low mileage bikes for sale. Not knowing the service history, you’d be better off paying more for a lower mileage bike.

"As for the price, if it's at the dealer, it's too high."

WAY too high. never buy used from a dealer; you will take it in the crudder everytime.

I don't think you would have to pay more, for a lower mileage bike. You can find something with half or less for $10k I bet. Maybe not 14, but a TC. But think about it 2020s are coming out this year.

Plus one on above--no need to spend more--for $10K you should be able to find something with half the mileage

Maintenance is key, but at 95k miles I would pass at just about any price.

For $10K you can buy a nice "garage queen" bagger with less than 10,000 miles. No way I'd pay that. In my area alone, there are LOTS of baggers for sale with 25,000 miles or much less, from $7-10,000.

I guess people just don't have the confidence in the Harley motor to go more than 30,000 miles or so without blowing up or some major problem. Its all in how its serviced and treated and rode. If you don't take good care of your bike and ride it like you stole it, it probably wont make it to 30,000 miles or more. If you take care of it, follow the maintenance, and ride responsibly, its not unheard of seeing 100,000 or more on one that is regularly ridden.
Most Harleys are bought by folks that don't do their own maintenance, and rarely go more than about 3,000 miles per year. That's why you see so many old bikes out there with really low mileage and wanting a high price for them. .
I bought a 2011 Harley Ultra Limited two years ago at a good price with over 62,000 miles and well kept. Its now got close to 69,000 miles an still running without any problems and I expect that it will continue to accure about 5,000 to 6,000 miles per year as per my riding will allow. I have spent money on it such as brakes, tires, fluid changes etc, but would have done that on any bike.
Would I be scared of the bike with 95,550 miles? Looks to me like someone who owned it really rode the bike and most likely took really good care of it. I wouldn't have a big problem with the purchase if I liked the price.

Just from personal experience with 2 of my past bikes: Around the 60K mark is when they started to nickel and dime me. I personally wouldn’t buy a bike with that many miles. If I was on a tight budget, I would by a salvage bike with low miles and fix it.

The thing is, was not so much the engine that was costing me, it was just parts wearing out from use. For me, when things start to wear out, its a fast slide, and seams like it’s one thing after the other.

The higher the miles, the more important proper maintenance and how it was ridden, will relate to it's longevity.

I've had several high mileage bikes that I wouldn't hesitate to take off on a long trip with.... my bikes, my miles, my maintenance....

I have also seen some low mileage bikes of friends/acquaintances that I wouldn't want to ride to the corner store...

Add to that, right now it's a buyers market for bagger motorcycles.... That bike is priced high by several grand......!

Too many low mileage bikes in that vintage to be looking at a 100K mileage bike for $10K.... IMHO....
