Looking at relocating my plate. Currently its right under the tourpack like most '09 Ultras. I'd like to place it down under the stock tallight, just above the light on the bottom of the fender.
Are there any relocation kits, or certain plate holders (from other model bikes) that would make this a painless relocation?
I put on a docking system and used this one. Had to drill the three holes but was okay with it because the paint isn't done yet anyway. It lays down quite nicely and the tail-light still lights it up. It's very visible with the tourpack and looks fantastic when the tourpack is removed.
If you decide to do it and drill. Make sure to tape the fender and I used clear silicone on each bolt to keep any rust from forming. It wraps very nice around the fender and looks very old school. Can send you pics if you want. Unfortunately there isn't much out there for us when it comes to plate relocation.
On my 09 Classic I used the light bar from an 09 Road King Standard or 09 Electra Glide Standard.
Directional Bar 68742-09
Light Assy 69378-09
Plate Bracket 69380-09BHP
Bumper 60909-09

That directional bar looks like it would work. I take it the other parts you listed are also in the picture of the 68742-09 when I google the number?

Yes.The light bar is 1.5 inches narrower than the original on your bike. The light assembly is LED,which I wired into the tail light. The bumper is a little rubber bumper that goes between the bottom of the bracket and the fender,it just barely touches the chrome surround of your fender tip light.

I picked up the 12v for the tag light from behind the tail light.IIRC when you remove the tail light,in the upper left corner there is a plug for the fender tip light.I just insert the wiring for the tag light in along side of the pins for the tip light.
