Here's what I do....
In the back of your owners manual (available online if you don't have one) it will list the part numbers for the Harley Factory Service Manual, Parts Manual, and Electrical Diagnostic Manual for your bike.
Use the part numbers to search online Harley vendors and you can get the manuals at a discount v just walking into your local HD dealer (unless of course they will give you a 20% discount).
If you plan on doing basic maintenance, get the Factory Service Manual. If you plan on doing all but warranty maintenance on your bike, get all three...
I get all three for every HD bike I buy. If I can't find them new for older bikes I buy, I search eBay..
I use the Service Manual the most. I believe it is necessary if you plan to wrench on your bike. It is far better than any of the off brand manuals out there. I use mine almost every time I touch a tool to my bike(s).
I also frequently use the parts manual. I am a visual person. I get a benefit out of the exploded parts diagrams, when working on a system/part for the first time. It also helps to know the part number for something you need to get, especially on an older bike, rather than relying on an HD parts counter person. It also allows for quick parts lookup on online HD vendors..
I use the Electrical Diagnostic Manual the least, but when I need it, it's worth its weight in gold........
I saved all my service manuals over the years. I now have a fair representation of Harley Service Manuals (Shovel Head, EVO, Twin Cam), that have benefitted me numerous times, as well as some good friends too..

FYI.... this site doesn't support the listing/use of web sites illegally selling pirated versions of the HD manuals... Might want to remove your second link, or you may get in trouble
