Kinda sucks that you can't retro fit the 6 gallon tank. That's about the only feature that I really like about the '08 models. I'm glad I got my '07.

Thanks, very interesting as it seemsmost parts are specific to this model year. Also seems that they have tried very hard to not allow us to work on our own bikes.[:@]

Makes one wonder on the touring models, the ECM move to under the seat will limit the add-on of a PCIII etc. May not be room!

Reminds me of when the major cage companies changed from points, plugs and carbs to computers and fuel injection. Took the fun out of tinkering with them...

I think bought my last new Harley. Too much sophisticated crap. No, I'm not intimidated, just not ready to have that junk on my two wheeler. I think the days of adding a Power Commander (or any FM device) are over. The used HD market just got a boost with the release of the '08s.
