search around, there's a thread about putting the 2010 exhaust on old style bikes.
the guy in the thread drills & taps the tranny pan for the cross over pipe mount, but I think you should research just buying the new model tranny/oil pan with the existing bolt holes.
the heat mitigation of the 2010 exhaust should be worth it, and it opens you up to variety of newer/higher performance exhausts off CL and the forum
FWIW, pipes newer than 2010 have a cat, so you can buy "de-catted" pipes off ebay for $90 ish?
you should able to post a WTB on local CL & get some 2010 parts cheap, since most guys have upgraded to the M8 and no longer need their old Twin Cam pipes.
