Default 2014-up bags

I have a 2008 and i would like to put on a set of 2014 and up bags so i can get the one touch saddlebags, but the problem is my bike is the white gold pearl color and i cannot find a set of bags that will match. I am not sure if they offered that color on the newer bikes or not. I would like to find a factory painted set vs having someone paint them. Does anyone know of some that will match my color?

Hate to say it but finding those bags with that paint color may be hard if not impossible to find. I did a lot of searching when looking for the best price bags for mine and I was only looking for black. Advanblack offers the most color options out of any that I found but I just checked and they don't offer that color.

As for getting a blank set and having them painted, if you know a painter personally that would be best because right now Im looking to have a king tour pack repainted to black and Im getting quotes all over the board.

Good luck in your search.

Could probably get a set from HD, but get your wallet and your wife’s purse ready cuz you’ll need’em both.

I have the stretched bags and haven't rubbed yet. Also, I personally liked the looks of them and the added room is a nice bonus as they fit my laptop nicely in there on the way to work.

You could shoot them an email to see how close the morocco gold pearl matches, I have heard their customer service and inquiry reply times are pretty good.

HD doesn't sell saddlebags, they sell saddlebag parts. I had to do this when I needed to replace a bag a couple years ago.

There are over 40 parts (IIRC) for one bag, including the multitude of screws you need. You;d need to use the parts microfiche or some other way to order all the pieces individually. My saddlebag parts (factory painted so allow at least a month for that) cost upwards of $1300 for one bag, and I assembled it myself. And that was thru one of the discount HD parts sellers (Ronnie's HD). MSRP on those parts would have been over $1500 maybe even $1600 plus an hour or so labor for the dealer to put the pieces together. Multiply by 2 for a complete set.

Like I said.....
$3,000 for saddlebags is insane!
You can get a complete set, hardware and everything, aftermarket online for under $300 and just have the paint matched.

Check eBay for any 2014 and up saddlebags. They are all aftermarket and pretty much all going to be black but they are there for sub $200.

Another option if you are wanting OEM is to check local FB Marketplace or CL for some since you are going to have to have them painting anyhow.
