Default Wobble

Sunday morning me and the wife went for a early morning ride before the relentless heat got above 90. We were on a back road, straight and smooth going around 50mph with cruise control on.
I took my hands off the bars and the bars started shaking slowly and then increased shaking. First thing I thought of is neck bearing adjustment. Researching this it "Seems" this happens more on decelerations then cruising at a steady speed??
Last month we went to the mountains for 1640 miles round trip. Before we went I had to get a new to me wheel, brand new bearings. Tire was mounted and no weight was needed, rare I know. Bike rode perfectly on the trip.
So, what do you guys think the issue could be?

I would be looking at the tire . You said " new to me " How many miles on it ?? Could be cupped , out of balance . I would have that tire looked at again and balanced .

Tire was the one I had on the previous wheel, just the wheel was new to me. Avon Cobra has about 6000 miles on it

I would have the tire checked, I just had to replace my front that had about 6000 miles on it, when they took the wheel off and put it on the balancer, you could see a high spot. Also discovered my left rotor was slightly warped, replace both and problem solved. And before anyone asks, yes I bought/replaced both rotors.

I know this sounds really basic, but did you check front tire pressure. I developed a slow leak in a front tire during a long ride and discovered it when I got the "wobble". One of the reasons I now run Ride On instead of Dyna Beads.

When you said you had to get "a new to me wheel", I thought you meant a tire and not a rim. First, why did you have to get a new rim? What was wrong with the other one? Second, were brake discs moved from the old rim or did the "new" rim already have brake discs? Third, did you take your hands off the bars on the trip to the mountains?

Had to get a new wheel because the powdercoater screws up and messed up. Long story
The new wheel was a take off from a ultra that came with the rotors.
There were times on the trip that I did have my hands off the bars, not necessarily in the mountains.

Going to jack it up tomorrow and are a look.

Based on all I know now, I'm going to say it's the tire. My handlebars wobbled like that at about 45 MPH when I took my hands off. New tire fixed it. Here's a video:
