I'd really like to install a hydraulic clutch on my '07 Street Glide. I was hoping HD would offer a kit for this, but not yet. The '07 CVO Ultra has the new 6 spd tranny with a hydraulic clutch. I gathered the part numbers...
37137-07 Side Cover
36819-07 Pushrod
38805-07 Hyd braided line
45383-03 M/C assembly
35654-06 Gasket
It should bolt right up to any 2007 touring bike i would think, thoughts? Any other parts you think I would need? Thx in advance, Putt
Just get yourself a White Bros. reduce effort clutch kit. It's around $29, and you can even do it yourself. The other name for it is "Easy Boy Clutch".

Yea, but it's still not the same as a hydraulic system. I run one in my Fatboy and my Road Glide, it's not so much the reduced effort I'm after but the feel of the system, I myself like it. I hear other's complain about not being able to feather the clutch as much but I havn't found that to be a problem at all. Putt
My 07 uc has the ez clutch and I cannot think of a clutch being easier. Kurakyn makes levers that makes it easier to pull because of the design. It's design is for smaller hands and they are chrome not polished.
Then again maybe I am out of turn.

Guys, he's not asking for opinions on what we think of the hydraulic clutch, but what he needs to complete his project.
Putt, I'm guilty of doing the same thing with a club member planning the same project and asking why when the current setup is so easy and comfortable, he kindly explained his reasons, including he had ridden sport bikes with them and just liked the convenience of not messing with the adjustment.
Wish i could help with your question... 'cause I'm sure my bud is doing the same thing!
Glad thats your take on it..because everything I've read and actually witnessed first hand is the 07 reduced effort clutch is actually easier to pull than the Hydraulic one...
I'd be pissed if I spent 400 bucks to get a lighter pull and it ends up being harder...

Man, I'm going to explain this one more time, try to anyway. It's not the effort that I'm trying to change but the "feel" itself by going hydraulic. Does anyone know what I mean by that? But besides that. if there are any other harley wrenches out here. I'll keep my question strickly mechanical. Is it possible to purchase the Hydraulic clutch cover, pushrod, gasket, hyd. line and M/C unit from the CVO ultra and install it on a ordinary '07 6 speed touring bike?????? Putt
No need to explain it one more time.. I got it the first time. Read my post...
I was just saying...
To answer your question...I don't know. But good luck with that.
