Default excessive Vibration

Noticed today while riding and the wife noticed it also, the bike had a lot of vibration to it just before shifting into 5th gear, seems to do this up around 50mph. I have done nothing other than switch the oil to Amsoil 20/50 and the trany to Amsoil 75/90 severe gear.

Any ideas as of where to look? The bike did not do this while running the harley syn. in all 3 holesor the mobile one v twin 20/50 in the crank case and bel ray75/140 in the tranny.

Just wondering if I need to take it to the dealer for a check up

Check your engine mounts. 06 models were having problems with the mounts cracking. HD has a service bulletin out for this problem. My dealership checks my mounts each time it goes into service, 1000, 5000 and 10,000 mile services so far. Replaced the mounts at the last service.

I had a weight come off of the back tire on my road trip this month on the way home. It produced a large vibration that started around 60 mph. I thought it was just a rough patch of interstate, but my passenger was convinced it was something wrong with the bike. She was right!!!
