Default Custom Dynamic Windshield Trim

Just installed the Custom Dynamic Chrome Windshield while I had the front apart doing my forks. It looks really good and really bright. Just thought I would share some pics in case anyone was on the fence about this. A real plug in play if you get the Newer kit. The older one had Posi connectors and you drilled through the fairing. I got this for Free so I figured I would check it out.

Just a word of caution...some states enforce lighting laws more than others. Here in Illinios 4 white lights in the front are the maximum. I run 5 and never had an issue but I suppose if a cop wants to press it he could (headlight, passing lights, turn signals are white until activated then amber when blinking).

Looks good. Been considering one myself. I wish they were offered in amber also (for both running & turn). Do you have any pictures of the wiring set up behind the fairing? Is it a pain at all to remove or remount the outer fairing while trying to hold the lights in place to unplug or reconnect the left and right wire plugs?

Thanks

It's not a pain removing or remounting the outer fairing. I just rest the trim on the dashboard "shelf".

Here is pic of my recent addition of the CD Fairing Trim and Vent lights. They operate as driving and directionals.

In driving light mode. The lights apearing at the bottom of the vent is just a reflection because of the camera angle.

Left turn signal...trust me they blink...cought them just right

right turn signal...same.

Of course they will all blink in Hazzard also.

All plug and play, so easy install. I'm going to add some 3M high stregnth automotive molding double stick tape to the underside of the fairing trim the next time I have to take it apart. Little PITA to hold the Fairing and trim and get all the wires contained and routed properly when reinstalling the front fairing.

BTW: The OP's pic showing blue lights in the vent might be a problem in some states. Blue (and sometimes Red) is reserved for Police/Fire and even a steady blue light may be a violation. I know down here in Florida, even Blue or Red down lighting will get you cited. White and amber...not even a second notice by LEO.
