i have the chance to get a 2014 Road King CVO with 3100 miles and/or a 2012 Road King with 400 miles, do the CVO difference is worth it?? the price for the CVO is like 25% more than te RKC..... what do you suggest? get the CVO and no cash left or the RKC and some cash to spend in bike stuff..???
New the CVO was 8 or 9 grand more than the RKC. Mathematically its almost a wash. Get the one that speaks to you. I'd try and get the 12 for a couple grand less. Your gonna need fluids and tires right off the bat.

A 2012 with only 400 miles, might as well call it a NOS bike . Personally, the CVO means nothing to me but I agree with the above post, get the one your gut feelings tells you to get.
Just a warning from a lesson I learned from buying a cvo...after you own one you'll never be able to go back to a standard production bike. Look at it this way...youre dating a wicked hot girl...a definite 10, do you think you'll be happy if your next girl is a 5? Cvo all day.

Well I would have to agree with those that said go with the one that speaks to you. As far as the 12 goes, still have the compensator issue but that won't be the case with the 14. Ride them both and go with the one that feels best to you.
