Well, I've been bouncing back and forth. The looks of an older RK vs the ergonomics of the newer RK. I looked at and did a very short (in congested town traffic) test ride 2014 FLHR. Awesome condition, 25k mi, , got a batwing type fairing with stereo (that's coming off). Very let down I found out bank has his title . He gave me his acct details, gonna try to get through red tape tomorrow. Out of state loan. Hope it don't take too long!? $10k. Here she is..
.
whaddayall think?
Nice looking bike. I said earlier I think the '14 is a good choice. Price sounds pretty reasonable. If things work out for you put a few miles on the fairing you may come to like it.
Well, just went to the bank to try and pay the owners loan off and get the title. His creditor is outa state. My people said you'd hafta be nuts to do that. Lol. Guess the owners gonna move some funds and pay it off today, then WAIT on the friggin title. Ugh.
. How long that take? Toldem "fine, but I'm still shopping in the meanwhile"!
IDK, ya ever heard the clichet "if it don't come easy,.....? Lol
Patience pays off. Hard not to love the Road King...
I picked up a 2011 in Green Apple/Vivid Black a few years back - I've always had a thing for that green... As soon as I got it home, it went on the jack and I promptly gave it a thorough refresh.
