I had a similar accident about a month ago....totalled my 02 RoadKing. Progressive Insurance was fast and super. Hope you have good luck with your claim..Don't worry...everything will work out quicker than you think. My collar bone is healing and I am now driving my new RoadKing that I like betterthan the one I wrecked. I don't rememnber what caused my wreck either, but I swear the the bike just suddently surged forward at almost full throttle and threw me aff the road, inwhich, I did panic and bailed off the bike. Never in 30 yearsof off and on riding have I ever experienced anything like that. I pray it never happens again. Just heal up your wounds and get back on the horse again....best of luck to you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Everyone makes a mistake once in a while. Did I screw up your hand holding session.
My post, short and to the point. Out there to be contradicted or confirmed. Ridiculed or chuckled at (chuckling, have you ever heard of that?!).
Yours on the other hand is a mile long line of BS that DOES truly disrupt the thread.
Could have taken your own advice regarding off-thread com. But instead you chose to further clog up Bill's story.
Hey, here's an idea. Why don't you start about 6 different posts on the same subject, in any given forum.

Glad to hear you're okay. The bike looks pretty good and will clean up pretty good. I know how you feel though, I had a bad head-on wreck in my pickup. Surviving them bastards gives you a whole new outlook on life.. Hoping the insurance does right by you...

How's things? Did you get a chance to go back and determine probable cause of the accident? Anymore info on the bike? Keep us up to date.
