So I see lots of mounts for handlebars, lowers, etc. Has anyone here seen or tried the upper glove box? The shelf is a good size to fit a typical tumbler. My thought is to drill out the top, line it with a rubber grommet, and maybe even create a cover to protect from elements when not in use.
....... myself, i'd prefer not to have "a typical tumbler" sticking up out of the glove box as i negotiated a tight corner
Something to consider that I didn't think about with the original post is I have 14" pullback apes. So that isn't quite the issue for me as neither me nor my arms are typically anywhere near the inner fairing.
Oh it's not so bad. Perfect placement for me... 14" apes, Ciro ring, and a Yeti cup. Hours and hours of cold or hot whatever. Works fantastic, easy to reach.

Ciro has a poor handle bar mount system. I've had 2 of them break going down a rough road. $27 dollars to replace just the mount. The Yeti cup will keep cold for a long time, not so much for hot coffee, just warm in a couple of hours.
I had this same set up for a second cup, and just replaced it with another Kruzer Kaddy. now I have 2 of the same mounted and the Kruzer Kaddy cups work great.
