thanks guy's i am going to take it to the dealer tomorrow. i believe it just may be a police tank because it is really white compared to the fenders and side panels, that is funny about the police man wondering what is wrong with his tank [:-]all i know is that someonemessed up somewhere along the line.
So, it's the 1/2dull white [:'(]and not the fancy InfinityPearl White .
white gold pearl is a white with gold undertones and flakes, which is not as 'bright' as the glacier white they use on the police bikes or softail deluxe. if you look at it out in the sun, it really is a sharp color, a little 'richer' looking than just a bright white (imo).
I just picked up my 07 gold pearl whiteRoad King Custom last Saturday, I completely understand. A local dealer had to locate one out of state for me. If it would have arrived with a color variation I would P.O.'d myself. I would take it to the dealership and ask/demand that they order the correct tank.
I have a 02 Ultra that is Peral White and a true Pearl. I'm looking at a 07 White Gold Pearl and it looks more like metal flake but on the round of the tanks and fenders it does have a gold tint, A friend has a Glacier Pearl and it has a blue tint and a lot brighter white. I personally like the gold as I said I'm looking at one but it's not PEARL. HD only makes colors for a few years and the new ones are not pearl. You should talk to the dealer and if they told you it was white pearl they should malke it right. Good luck!!
