Default Going with the Stage 2 with 203 cams. Any reason why I shouldn't?

OK, I'm a sucker. I went to have my 1K service and there was a "happier than a pig in a pigpen" customer just glowing over is new stage 2 / 203 cams upgrade.
After talking to this guy for about a half hour, I decided that I wanted to have all that extra "pull" he was raving about.

I have a 05 RK classic, PCIII with SE slip-ons, and stage 1 AC.

Is there any reason why I wouldn't want this upgrade?

Done with the "bling"
Now I want some "Zing"!

GO for it! I love it, did the same thing except I also added a PC and SE heads. The only problem I have with it is that I'm hearing people running into problems when trying to get warranty work at a dealer other than the one that did the install.

I have the stage 2 with 203's and vance and hines pro pipes on my '03 heritage. I rode to sturgis and then to the grand canyon and back 2 up and was very happy with the setup. some guys will tell you to go with the 204's or 211's if you want to stay with harley parts if not they will tell you to go with the andrews. your decision I dynoed at 86hp and 97torque. good luck

Go for it. If you can afford the SE Heads then do that too. Makes a big difference. Please, Please, Please put on a Harley Race Tuner so that you can get the performance you paid for and so you will be able to get it tuned just right.

Are you saying that I should ditch the PCIII, and get a Harley race tuner instead?

What benefits will SE heads give me?

Another question:

SInce it's the end of October here in NY, I won't be riding too much for the next 4 or 5 months.

Can I do any harm if I did this upgrade, and only put on a couple hundred miles over the winter?

Anthony, I also live in Upstate NY.

I have a new Ultra, and I will ride that puppy all winter, when it's not snowing.

Go for it!!!

Ride safe.

Oh Man!
All these "I Love it's" are driving me crazy!

This is a done deal. I'm gonna have it done this week.

The normal price for this upgrade is about 1500.00. SInce I don't need a HD download, the dealer's taking off 150.00. Plus he's giving me a 15% "Regular customer" discount..PLUS I have a 200.00 HD gift card.
That brings my total out of pocket to $1015.00.

What do you think? Do these numbers seem right?

Just break it in right and there'll be no problems.
