Worn out volume switch??? - '05 Ultra
Guess I've used the volume/bass/treble/fader switch one too many times in three years.
Seems like a poor "contact" connection - really got to play around with it and push/press hard (cheap azz thing anyhow).
Contact cleaner / deoxidizer didn't help either
Can you buy just the switch and is it a simple DIY plug and play deal??? Covered in the service manual???

Yes, you can buy just the switch...........I have one sitting in my toolbox. I believe it was under $20 from my local dealer.
It is easy to do, just not a lot of room to work with. There is 4 wires for the switch, and you will have to cut, solder, and heat shrink the wires.
