Default Reckless Fairing

I have been throwing around the idea of an aftermarket removable fairing for my 06 RK. (reckless fairing) I like the look of the fairing and im not trading the king in for a SG. These things have been out for some time now looking at pros and cons. black gel coat will it match the Vivid Blk or does it need painted? Is it secure or has it become I rattle lose crapper?

At 6 foot I have a Clearview 18 inch extra wide recurve with vent that I look over. The vent does not put wind in your face it balances the airflow. So even when windy riding at high speeds I do not get any buffeting.
Clearview has shields up to 24 inch. With my Wild 1 RKII bars which are WIDE the extra width Clearview looks right.

Another vote for the Clearview w/vent. I've got an 18.5 recurve with the fork fangs and I can ride at 80+ with an open face all day with virtually zero buffeting. The combination has done the trick completely for me --

I bought a Woody's aftermarket batwing with radio and amp for my 2014 Road King, installed it almost 3 years ago, its never coming off! Went with Freedom Shield before the batwing and (2) Freedoms for my batwing. Also removed the turn signal bars front and back and passing lamps, replaced them with LED bullets up front, and custom dynamic probeam fillers in the rear, (run, brake and turn) guess I just should have bought a SG but now I have a "Sreet King" but no complaints, I can still remove the batwing easily enough and run it naked
