Yes...I'm aware of that now. When I ordered mine, I called a vendor and spoke directly with a sales rep there. Asked specifically if I should go STD or HD. He told me (wrongly) the STD are rated up to 400 lbs...hence I ordered STD from him.
The set-up specs in the manual actually show up to 280 lbs on the highest (5) preload setting for STD. Most likely best not be be maxed out though all the time.

I just went from the stock cvo 12 inch up to a 13 inch, not fox though, went with RWD RS1, just wanted to comment on the added inch. More travel is definitely nice but I'm not certain I like the raise in height on the rear, I'm still adjusting to it. Thinking I should have just stayed with a premium 12 incher but more miles may change my mind.

Don't ever look back. You have no idea what the rear looks like when you're on the bike. That 1 inch of travel is important on these harley's

That added inch makes a big difference at a stop light for short jockey sized people like myself. Would love the extra inch of travel but riding down the road is not when my bike is difficult to keep upright, lol.

Not concerned about the look, more about how it feels in the saddle. I'm 6'2 so it's not a seat height thing, it just feels a little weird sitting up higher in the rear. I'm sure I will adjust to it.

I've never understood this. Put one foot down and lean ever so slightly to that side. You don't need both feet down. How do you think people ride dirt bikes with 38" seat heights?

You don't have to understand it, nor do you get to tell me how to feel comfortable when I ride or how to set up my bike for me. You do you and I'll do me, OK? And a dirt bike doesn't weigh 850 lbs. either, sooooooooo............ yeah.

after racing dirt bikes the last 40 years, it's really weird to put more than one foot down, it just does not feel right to me.
