I'll have to look into those coatings. Swirl marks just kill me.
Coatings don't sure those. Polishing is what removes them. Polish it to as close to perfect as it can be achieved. Coat it. Follow proper washing techniques and your good.
I detail vehicles as a side gig, for 15yrs+. Coatings are not bullet proof, they will swirl and scratch. However, if you follow proper washing drying techniques you will get years of protection, stays cleaner longer, and has a gloss to it that is of its own
My thought is that the only vote that matters is your own. If you like the color, then go for it! But since you did ask for opinions, I'll give you mine: I like that color. Reminds me of vehicles from the 1950s, which is exactly the style & vibe that suits a Road King... so yeah, looks cool to me. (Would probably look pretty bad-*** with some fish-tip pipes too!)
Teal and white is my favorite color for a Harley, not that I have one that color. Next favorite is white, or red/white, like my metric sportbikes and my "Morocco Gold" Heritage.
Had a few black Harleys, black shows the dirt and getting rid of the swirl marks are a royal PIA. JMHO
