I'm toying around the idea of getting a newer used Road King. I've had many black ones which are tough looking. I also have a black 67 Mustang. After a while you get tired of having to clean a black vehicle even if it has only been sitting in the garage. This color is kind of retro but not sure if it would be a color that get old or maybe a little more feminine. (no offence to those that may have this color). I know color is subjective and of course black Harley's are the fastest. lol
I do like that color scheme but yeah, that does look like a lady rider would be pulling up. I love the Vivid Black, but once I saw my Superior Blue it was done. Get the color that make you want to go ride, and give two shiits what others think
I know black bikes are popular. And there in lies my problem with them. It's very hard to distinguish/ make your bike stand out. I've been a fan of the two toned HDs for a long time. When I was looking for my current bike that color combo was high in the running. I ended up with a better bike, meaning fewer miles and more upgrades, in Black Cherry Pearl and Pewter Pearl but those colors always catch my eye.
The white ones last the longest. More black ones are replace under insurance then all the rest. Oldtimer blue hairs cain't distinguish the black ones from the blacktop... ..
