I use the same adapter you posted off of the battery tender plug and charge it in my pocket or on the bars with a longer usb cable

I've got that too, but I needed 2 adaptors for the heated gear battery terminal. 1 for the tender and 1 to stay with the bike

Don't have an RK (Street Glide) but i bought a USB port that fit into my cigarette lighter spot....has two ports and a cover... simple and out of the way. Perhaps you can do some searches for various USB ports...I've seen for handle bars, bags, etc. A bit of creative thinking may give you a spot to place this. I'll charge while riding, but do not access/use the phone except for music. Hard enough to look out for a$$holes out to kill you let alone try to converse! I digress.... Check for ports.... mount to handle bars, engine/saddlebag guards, find a spot not readily visible, or one of the side covers. Let us know how it goes.....

I’m thinking how to extend the battery charger plug in the Saddlebag with a quick disconnect.

.
Make your own. Parts are readily available, just solder and heat shrink.

What I did was use an extra battery tender cable and soldered an extra length of cord to it and ran it under my tank bezel and up into my leather pouch on the windshield . Phone is now out of the elements , and I can also mount it when I need gps or etc .

Amazon sells extensions in different lengths up to at least 25'. But, it's not that difficult to make your own.

If your RK is 09-13 ( I know for a fact ), look about 6'' back from your headlight plug for a orange wire with a white stripe and a black wire along side of it, both will have blade connectors already on them. This is a switched power source, headlight on you have power, headlight off, no juice. Orange is your positive, black is your ground.

How about adding a cigarette lighter socket under your seat . Run the car charger wire under the tank . Plug in the charger and tape everything up tight so it doesn't come apart . Thats what I do !
