Good Luck in your decision.
You're probably right . I've been looking at the 2-piece CVO seats only .
I've got the part #'s for 3 different years . Now I'll start researching the
Limited seats & get their part #'s . Thx .

I own a 2017 CVO and the seat is nice. It is heated which the wife likes but I do not think it is actually leather. As for comfort it may be one mark higher on a scale to 10 over previous stock seats we have had on Limited's and Ultra's.

Over the years I spent a lot of money on aftermarket seats looking for that perfect most comfortable seat you can ride all day. I wish I had all that money back!

I found that the correct riding gear for the temperature along with a REAL sheep skin cover (mine from Alaska Leathers) was all it took. And a whole lot less expensive.

We have done up to 9 day rides, 700 miles in one day and trips over 3000 miles. My wife will back up what I am typing. The sheep skin makes a huge difference. Cooler in the summer, warmer in the winter and almost zero pressure points. She will not even ride if I take it off! I know many do not like the look but I am a firm believer after probably 60 k miles with one!

My second best suggestion is good socks. HD makes a very good warm weather sock and Klim does also. They are not cheap at $20 to $40 bucks a pair but worth every cent. I wear Duluth Trading Armachillo underwear with a generous amount of Gold Bond powder and WOW. It all goes together for a total comfort package.

I have friends that think we are crazy, but in the same breath say they wish they could hang with us on long rides!

Good luck with your planning.

If I'm understanding sheep skin pads right , they don't
really offer any padding just great temperature control .
Is that correct ?
