Hi. Wondering if you guys can’t help me. I have a 2016 road glide that won’t start. I was riding it one day, parked it, and less then 5 minutes later I came back to the bike, turned the ignition, the lights and radio and stuff came on and then it all shut off. Now then I turn the ignition nothing happens. No lights, no fuel pump sound nothing. The red dot on the bike still lights up and I changed the battery and still nothing. My key fob battery is good also. If I sit on my bike with the key fob nothing happens, but if I sit on the bike without the key fob, the alarm goes off, and then when I grab the key fob the alarm goes off. I changed the ignition and still nothing. I changed the fuses and relay and still nothing. All the wires are connected right and I jiggled them all. Could something like the ecm or something be blown? Any ideas? I really don’t have money to take it to Harley and it for them to “chase” the problem while racking up hours of labor charges.
thanks in advance guys.

I remember reading in another forum recently someone with this problem had to replace the crankshaft position sensor. Once replaced, it solved the problem. I think he said it was about $60 for the part.

Thanks for the reply. I’m not sure but I think if it was the crankshaft sensor, the radio and light would still come on wouldn’t it?
Ok, so no extended warranty...looks like you tried all the obvious issues. Even w/ the new battery, what's the volts level? Also, to rule out another smaller possible, did you try starting bike by bypassing security (entering code)?

the code screen doesn’t come up when I turn the ignition. Nothing happens when I turn the ignition switch. That’s why I ruled out the key fob or alarm system.
