I have a 2010 limited with 100,000 miles. I tried to trade and upgrade but for me the numbers are to far apart. I’ve become attached to her and does all I need to enjoy the day or trip. I run regular unleaded in the bike not premium because I better mpg with it. I also tow a trailer and do all my own work on the bike.
I have a map from fuel moto for a stock bike with different intake and exhaust. With the miles on the bike is it worth putting in a used set of se255 cam and have it dynoed or tuned with regular fuel.
I know everyone wants the fastest hard pulling bike. I would like a bike to get the most using regular fuel. Is a dyno tune worth it. Looking for advise and why or why not I should do something. Thanks
if you'er looking for a bump in tq, and Hp ....you might consider a used set of low mileage 2014 and up (rushmore) cams ...these have a little more duration and lift ...and was advertised back then at about a 10% increase over the previous year 103's....
should not need a whole lot of tuning changes but if you were able to find a good stock map for the 14' and up (fuelmoto) ...you could get very close that way !!!
If it’s already on your mind, start planning your rebuild/upgrade now. Take it out to a 107 or 110 with mild cams and enjoy the extra power and ridability.
