Default fork lock

When you get back on your bike, remember to unlock your fork lock. Yesterday I got back on my bike and forgot that I had locked the fork. Anyway, I pulled the bike upright and then I could not point the handle bars straight. Anyway, I just about dumped the bike. It was on it's way over, but I was able to muscle it upright.

Has anyone else ever done that?

Just curious? How you do that? On my EGC you have to turn the fork lock from "lock" to "on" in order to be able to start the bike.

The bike was not running. I simply got on, put the bike upright, and then tried to straighten out the handle bars. After I could not straighten the handle bars, then the bike about went over.

Heck, I can't even mount my bike unless the handlebars are straight forward. LOL

Trust me..you are the only person to have ever done this.Well, maybe the only person to actually admit to doing it on an open forum. hehe
