I tried to use my fork lock the other evening but it wouldn't work. I can turn it half way but it would stop. I turned the front end left to right, had it vertical (not on the kich stand) and still wouldn't lock. Any suggestions before I dissassemble?

You haven't been reading the forum. There is a recall on 06 fork locks. Go to your nearest dealer and they will replace.

 

If the forks are locked and the handle bars are moved back and forth,the lock pin drops and jams up.This is one of the problems.
