I know this is a much talked about topic. I have done a lot of research hear on the site as well as the internet. The specs on handlebars can be confusing especially with not all manufacturers using the same standard to measure. All I have to judge by is the stock bars on my 2018 limited. I am not uncomfortable with the shape of the stock handlebar. I like the width and grip angle. Given the angle at which the bars are when mounted I just simply need them to be 1 inch higher. Most handlebars have a much wider stance which I don't want. I would like to keep the width very close to stock. I can accept a little change in grip angle but not much. So basically I would like to find a handlebar that is close to stock just with another 1 to 1 1\2 inch in rise. Your recommendations would be appreciated.

Your stock bars are adjustable, so simply try that first! Doesn't cost any more than a little time. Best done with a spare pair of hands IMHO, as when slackening off the bar clamps the bars can move suddenly. Being as close as you describe changing bars may not be any more successful, but is more hassle - well, a bit more!
Wild One Chubby 10”, they sit just below the top of the fairing. Fit and finish is awesome, plus no wire or cable extensions needed. I’ve ran several different bars through the years and these by far were the most comfortable.
I have been looking at those. If someone has them tell me what you think of them?
I considered them. I held them side by side with the stock bars I had removed and there was very little difference at all, just a little taller. Width and grip angle was the same.
