I've noticed that no one has mentioned putting a wood block or something like it under the center of the frame. I've trailered our bikes 600mi. one way for years and have had just a few minor issues. I made a spacer to place between the trailer rail and the bike frame under the engine. I fashioned two "cradles" (one for each frame tube) and attached them to the "block" to fit under the frame so it could be pulled down and stop the bike suspension from bottoming out. The rubber cradles keep the block in place and I can get the tie downs as tight as I can without worrying about damaging the fork seals. The bikes won't have any up and down travel and no damage to the suspension. I still do all the other straps just like others have suggested on this forum. Experiment with your bike on your trailer and I'm sure you'll come up with an idea that will work for you. Good luck.

Rhino and Power Tye both make great stuff, right here in the USA.

Make sure you get straps with the safety latches on the S hooks (both ends) so it cannot fall off if the strap happens to loosen up.

A little late, but I have to make a correction to my post.

Rhino USA straps are NOT made in USA, despite the company name, and despite the American flag tag that is sewn onto the strap. They are made overseas, the name of the company and the flag sewn onto the strap mislead me to think it was a US made product.

An American Flag sewn onto a strap made in Asia? Shame on them...

Power Tye straps are made in USA, and have a tag sewn on them stating so.
