Fish,

Your new brake is being shipped to you next day air, leaving today. Everyone is convinced that it was a spacer issue, and they wanted me to pass on to be sure and use a thick walled spacer, (i.e. thick walled pipe, etc) and to ensure that the length is correct,(right, we got it). I know I did all I could to get it turned around faster, and it was no fast enough to help you before your wrench left. I really feel that it was an installation issuse, but if you dont feel comfortable, pm me, send it back on my nickel, and I will get you a rotor and 6 piston caliper. Just let me know.

PS. Would you please send me a referee shirt, whistle and a flag, so I can keep these manufactures honest.....lol

Hang in there, we will get you going on way or another.

Bart

Bart,
Once again.. Above and Beyond man!!! You've been outstanding... I'll spring for the JerseyI was tryimg not to get you involved since I was in contact with 360, but I totally appreciate everything... And it wasn't your responsibility to get it here before my wrench split, but I appreciate it.. Now if I can just find an installer...Maybe the boys at HogPro can cut me a spacer as Jeff says his is dead on and the measured on another bike... Or I'm only 140 miles or so from them, I might trailer it in and see if they can't help...
Can't say enough Bart... Thanks man!!!

Fish,

I am very thankful for you and others like you that trust me enough to be a customer, if you buy it from me, YOU are my customer, and in my mind customer service doesnt end when the money changes hands, it is something that continues. I did speak to Tim Wilson, the Wilson of the company and he was adamant about getting your issuses resovled. He is next day airing Bryan's 360 to me, they really want satisfied customers, why it wasnt it wasnt shipped last week I dont know, but if ANYBODY has problems they want to know. I have never heard a bad word about the Hogpro guys, I bet they will help you. Let me know what you need and I am on it.

Fish,
Give Robert a call at HogPro and see if they still have the measurements for the spacers and see if they can machine you a set up like they did for me. Like Bart these guys have been awesome to deal with. My brake hasn't been on the road yet, but like I said in an earlier post my chrome looks like it was a bad dip or just had issues flaking. I sent an email on Saturday to both 360 and HogPro, within an hour had a response from HogPro saying to call them first thing Monday and that they would take care of it. I talked to Robert Monday morning and he mailed me one right out, and told me just to stick mine back in his box and stick the return label back on the box and he would deal with 360 that I don't have to worry about it.

I thought good CS was gone, but Bart and HogPro have proven that there are still people and companies out there that will go above and beyond to take care of their customers.

Jeff

BZ,
Thanks for asking I am back on the road...Finally...[8D] I installed aPM 6 piston caliper and matching rotor. Had to get a new hub from Renegade who I have to say was great in getting that to me. Yvette the gal on the phone was fantastic... at first they sent a dual disc hub..wasn't gonna work so I called her and she overnighted the single disc hub AND included the return shipping label... A real pleasure to deal with..Chuck are ya listening!!

I actually think the PM looks better and so does my GF... I'll post some pics soon as I made another little change to the bike as well...
As for the 360, I or I should say WE kinda lost confidence in it for the time being...just too many variables...It doesn't make sense to me that every single bike running it, even the same make and model, need different size spacers... I know its been splained Ijust don't get it.. seems as if its a way to limit liability in the event of failure... but who knows...
I also realized once I took off the rotor hat that my chrome was peeling as well... You could just flick off with your fingers... I know Jeff had this problem, so that seems like an issue the guys at 360 need to address..

They did send me a brand new brake though...got it sittin here still in the original wrapper...not sure what I'll do with it, but I'm glad to be back on the road... Man did I need it!!! My head was goin' sideways and a good ride always straightens it out!!

Be safe everyone..

i'm with you fish....i think my pm 6/rotor looks great and it definitely stops great....i hear the spacin theory, maybe...i do know it dont wear well with heat tho regardless of the spacer deal....on mine the piston froze in the pushed out position....had to borrow a jack on the BRP and pull the pad/rotor out, then reuse the hub for spacin....ran with no brake....i'm not a player there....i think its perfect on a hot custom that doesnt see heavy bikes and lots of duty....but it is an engineering masterpeice and i believe the folks at the 360 place will get it right...for now tho i'm gonna run the PM

Good to hear your back on both wheels Fish. Can't wait to see what the other little change is.......

Hey Bryan - I think you might have hit the nail on the head with the 360 and the heavy weight and extended use of these baggers. I agree that the 360 people will figure it out. Somebody a hell of a lot smarter than us figured out how to make the thing work to a certain degree int he first place, I'm sure they can perfect it.

I sure do love my single sided 6 piston from Shooter as well.

AARRGGGG Man Fish I don't even have my bike off the lift yet, and I am wondering if I should switch over the the PM set up and just send this thing back?????

I know that you and Bryan have had your issues, but how many other people are running these with no issues at all???? I have looked all over the web and this forum seems to be the only one that talks much about them with any real experience.

We are going to do a bagger next week with dual 360's on the front, and I tell you if we have one little baby hiccup......I think I'm done...mabye they just went to market to soon....not sure. The ones I have done...stop pretty well.....and they look so damn good.......I realllllllly want them to work. I did talk to Mr. Wilson of the Baldwin Wilson Corp, and he will step up and make things right, every time so far. I have another going on a forum member's new set of forge tec wheels and I am about to just pull the plug on that, I just dont need the headaches. You guys have been so so good to me on this forum, I just dont ever want to lead anybody in the wrong direction except ByranTTM......he is used to it.....lol....just joking my Texas buddy, and R&D companion. I almost have the air bag worked out for your street glide, but you will have to do extensive testing......gotta a helmet?
