Thanks all, It's sitting on the tires just not resting on the kickstand ,I do have a rug underneath her. Oh and I will ride her if weather permits, Rode her this morning getting gas and stabilizer, Bit windy and cold but refreshing

My bike is covered during the winter. For various reasons, I need to move it around the shop several times during the winter. For me, the benefit is not having to remove the cover every time I need to move it, as I can easily roll it around, in any direction, with the cover on.

***** all the cardboard, rugs and blankets. Wheel that sled in the front door and park it in the living room.

In that case, put it down on the kick stand.

You’re not holding the bike up on the mechanical stops of the Jack, but are counting on the hydraulics to hold it up. That will leak down, slowly, and it’s 50/50 which way it will fall over then.

When using my jack, especially for storage, the weight is on the stops and I release the pressure from the bottle jack for this very reason
