A bit, but don’t think it looks bad. An aftermarket ring will solve that though.

I like the black version from Hogworkz:

I have TL on the Road King and Custom Dynamics on the Road Glide. Both exceptional products. Typically ya get what ya pay for. In my experience cheap lights although they may be bright, they offer radio interference as a trade off. Been there done that on other bikes.

Good point NobodyKnowsMe .. I too went the Custom Dynamics Head/Passing lights. Very happy and being around 750 price for them still cheaper than HD, not sure if it will matter but CD gives me a lifetime warranty on the LED's... These are made by JWSpeaker which I've heard is quality. Whatever investment, being able to see better, AND to be seen by others is the name of the game

I got the sunpies of amazon and they have been great. I installed them in Feb. last year and they look as good as day 1

Exactly. Three years into my Sunpie and love it. $46 is an incredible price for the quality. I'm guessing many people see a very low price and assume junk, however, that's not totally true. I have not heard of one failing since I joined HDF three years ago, and trust me if someone's going to b*tch about something, it'll be here on HDF.

I'd be interested in someone doing a side-by-side comparison of a Sunpie and a newer high-dollar light. The only comparison I have ever done was comparing my SG to a buddy's with a 1st gen Daymaker. Could not a tell a difference. Not one visible difference - same perceived distance, brightness, color, and pattern. Not bad for being $500 cheaper.

United Pacific 31391 headlamp, fit the factory bucket on my RK,factory trim ring fit perfectly and it doesn't stick out like most led headlights. Headlight Revolution Carrie's them for $179,but I did some shopping online and got mine for $129.

Sunpies are better if you dont normally ride at night, but occasionally get stuck in the dark. If you routinely ride at night, in high animal traffic areas, I would strongly suggest getting the best you can get.
Thanks Soldier. I just got this bike. Hit a deer at night with my last bike, totalled the bike, killed the deer, and didn't do me much good either. Definitely want to upgrade the factory light. Don't do as much night riding as you, but want a good light when I do.

Just a heads up to the OP and everyone else, the place where I bought my Phase 7 has them on sale right now for $100! They also carry LED passing lights. Thought I'd share with y'all.

Get a sunpie on amazon for around 50. Do a search on this site for sunpie and read the good reviews. I started one topic on them here regarding my recent installation on my 2018 SG.
