Default Buying a road glide... 2018 or 2019?

Hey guys, a couple years after selling my 2013 RG I am wanting to get one again. I understand there have been some updates in 2019. I'm trying to figure out if those updates are worth the extra cost?
So far I've found the following... keep in mind I'm in Canada, therefore pricing is in Canadian $$$
Brand new 2020/2019 from a dealership can be bought for around $27k
I've found one used 2019 RG with 5,000km, the seller wants $24k.
Also found a 2018 RG with 8000km and that seller wants $18k.
Now, I sure would like to have the new Boom! system, I just don't know if I'm willing to pay an extra $6000 for it. Has anyone had any luck making the new system work on the older bikes? If so, that may be my solution. I would just get the 2018 for $18k and put the new system on it... Any other features on the 2019's that are worth the extra $$$?

Whew 6 grand for that system? Should come with a kitten to serve cocktails. Naw not worth it- to me. Then again I've had a Rolling Stones concert playing in my head since '75 so I'm good.

I think he meant $6k for the newer bike, just to get the new stereo -vs- buying the 2018 with the older stereo. The GTS stereo from HD now is working in the 2014 and up bikes without any gizmos or modules, but its still gonna cost almost $2k to get it switched out.

yes that's what I meant... would it be worth spending an extra $6k to get the new system and maybe there are some other features the 19's have that are worth the extra money?

Mid year 2019's and newer have the new style oil pump as well as the primary vented from the factory. This seems to have taken care of the sumping and oil transfer issues that some people had.

Doesn't the 2019 have the 114ci motor compared to the 2018 having a 107ci?

Only 2019 Specials get the 114ci motor. A "regular" 2019 still has a 107

Only on the Special. The 2019 standard RG still has the 107
