Let me preface this by saying I own softail Fatboy not a FLH but it does have the freight train nacelle with the passing light/turn signal and from my understanding the front ends are essentially the same for all intents and purposes. So I bought the Road King Elite windshield from Long Ride shields along with the the quick detach windshield bracket but I struggling to figure out how to mount it as the grommets don't quite line up where I need them. If I use the top mount whole that actually threads into the nacelle then the bottom of the bracket won't reach the bottom grommet and it doesn't sit on the nacelle.If I use the 2nd hole then the bracket will reach both grommets but I can't get the bracket on the bottom one since it won't fit in between the auxiliary light mount point. Any suggestions?

P.s. Sorry if this post is sort of a cluster ****, I an typing part of it, going doing other stuff and coming back ect.

 

Sounds like kindofa common sense thing. It either works, or it don't and need different parts.

 

Call them and explain what bike you have, might have the wrong one for yours. If the right one, ask them what's up with it.

 

I am pretty certain the fatboys, heritage's, road kings had different brackets.
